We met on a dating app and it caught my eye that he could sew stuffed animals (I love stuffed animals!) The more I talked with him, the more I wanted to meet. So we made plans to meet at a bookstore and have lunch in a nearby town! When I pulled up the bookstore, he was sitting on his truck and we locked eyes and I felt my heart skip! My face went so red I had to look away from him and pretend to look at my bag, HAHA! We talked a bit during the bookstore and lunch, but it was the trip to the park that sealed the deal. We headed to a nearby park and spoke for another hour or so, however as we talked to each other and the sun went down neither of us wanted to leave. I didn't want to let go of his hand or stop hearing him talk about his life. His eyes are the most beautiful color I've ever seen! We stayed at the park talking so long that we didn't even realize it was a few hours until sunrise! Our first date ended up lasting an entire 25 hours and to this day it remains being the most beautiful date I've ever been on.
On the morning of our two year anniversary, Brennan woke me up with breakfast in bed and it was so sweet! He doesn't know, but I was listening to him cook the food <3 I CANT REMEBER WHAT HAPPENDED NEXT Throughout the day, Brennan had been keeping things a secret from me. I knew he was up to something, but I focused on getting ready while he focused on his plans. While I was getting my outfit together, a knock came to the door and Brennan rushed to get it. I was touched at the flower bouquet he had ordered for me and the note had the most sweetest and heartfelt note I'd ever read. While I gushed over the note and flowers to my sister, Brennan told me I must hurry to get ready and I asked why. The shock on my face when he told me we were going to a hotel for the night, must of been pricless. I will never forget the smile on his face when he told me we were going to the Seal Bach Hotel! We packed our car quickly and rushed downtown to check in. The hotel was stunning and came with such a great history! After we got settled, he took me some of my favorite bookstores, which I was very excited about :) For our dinner, I was beyond thrilled when he took my hand and walked me across the streak to the Brazilian steak house! I can't tell you how much food I ate, I thought I would explode haha! Although the day was good, I was feeling very nervous because as the day went on, he never asked me the big question. I waited and waited and watched so many moments come and go, I honestly thought it wasn't gonna happen. And then he pulled my hand, and I turned around and he was getting down on one knee and he told me he loved me and asked "Will You Marry Me?" I couldn't even scream, I was in shock and if I hadn't been wearing those heels I would of jumped for joy! That ring was the most beautiful ring I'd ever seen in my life and that moment will forever be apart of my heart forever.
