Ravaka and Johnny had their first date in February, 2021. It was a Friday night in Flagler beach, FL after talking for a couple weeks on the dating app, Hinge. They met that night at Break Awayz for beers on the beach, ahi tuna poke bowls, and live music; finishing the night at Finn’s Bar to catch a local band and dance the night away. Neither of them had any clue that it would be their last. first. date. What ended up being just Johnny’s fear of commitment was quickly quelled with the help of his wise mother, who reminded him how much of an idiot he was each and every time his fears started getting the best of him. Needless to say, Johnny and Ravaka pressed on and the relationship persevered. This isn’t a story of conflict, however, but rather a triumph of the heart in the face of despair. For eventually, Johnny shed his childish fears and saw that giving up on this relationship would be giving up on the greatest blessing that he had ever received.  After falling in love and adopting a couple dogs, they eloped and moved out to Atlanta Georgia where they would eventually settle down and call home. But even though they wear the rings binding both souls, without a ceremony, festival or most importantly friends and family to witness the joining of these two families; they never truly felt as though their matrimony was complete.
