In Cancun, most resorts will accept U.S. dollars for tips, but it's often a good idea to have pesos on hand for smaller amounts or when tipping outside the resort. While U.S. dollars are widely accepted, tipping in local currency (pesos) can sometimes be more appreciated, as it saves staff from needing to convert it. * Robbie and I usually bring $1/$5 bills if we don't get a chance to exchange. When tipping at a resort, typical amounts could be: ✔️ Housekeeping: $2-5 USD per day ✔️ Bartenders: $1-2 USD per drink order ✔️ Bellhops: $1-2 USD per bag ✔️ Concierge or Spa staff: $5-10 USD depending on the service
Stick to bottled or filtered water to avoid any stomach issues. Hotels and resorts provide purified water.
We want to ensure everyone enjoys the celebration without any worries! If you have any dietary restrictions or preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies, etc.), please let us know in advance. We’ll be sure to communicate with the resort or caterer to accommodate your needs during the wedding events and reception. Please make sure to inform the resort's staff when you check in as well.
✔️ Sunscreen – Protect your skin and the environment ✔️ After-sun lotion (like aloe vera) – In case you get too much sun ✔️ Bug Repellent – Especially for the evenings ✔️ Anti-itch cream in case of bites * We will bring extra in case you forget yours or need more during the trip.
If you have any questions, please feel free to text/call or email us. We will be posting any additional information/ updates as we receive it. Raul: 512-956-2329 Robbie: 210-378-2890 email: doneitinsa@gmail.com
