FAQs

Question

How do I get to Querétaro?

Answer

The easiest option is to fly into Querétaro Intercontinental Airport (QRO) — just 25-30 minutes from the city center. You can also fly into Mexico City (MEX) and take a shuttle, private transfer, or bus (about a 2.5-hour drive).

Question

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

We suggest arranging your transportation from the airport to your hotel upon arrival. Our recommended provider is Gogo (Transportación Ejecutiva) for private shuttle services. To book, please contact them via WhatsApp at (945) 600-8323 or +52 (814) 7930 712. Uber is also available.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We will have room blocks available at the three hotels listed in the Travel section of this website, but guests are welcome to stay wherever they prefer. Staying in the city center is especially convenient, as the welcome party will be held nearby, and transportation will be provided on the wedding day from the city center to and from the venue.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

For the Welcome Party: Cocktail attire — think colorful, festive, and comfortable for dancing, tacos, and the parade! For the Wedding Day: Formal attire (We are kindly requesting that our guests wear black). Tip: Querétaro evenings can be cool, so bring a light jacket or wrap.

Question

What’s the weather like?

Answer

Querétaro has warm days and mild evenings. Expect sunny weather around September with temperatures between 57-79 degrees.

Question

Do I need pesos?

Answer

Most places accept credit cards, but having some Mexican pesos is helpful for taxis, street vendors, or small shops. ATMs are easy to find in town.

Question

Will my phone work in Mexico?

Answer

Yes! Most U.S. carriers (like AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile) include free or affordable roaming in Mexico. Check your plan before traveling.

Question

Any packing tips?

Answer

- Comfortable shoes for cobblestone streets - Sunglasses and sunscreen - Light layers for cooler evenings - An open heart for tequila
