Where is the ceremony?

The ceremony will take place at The Overlook at KC Bison Ranch in Dahlonega, GA. The address is 22 Dream Big Trace Dahlonega, GA 30533.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. The venue will be open to guests starting at 4:30 pm. We kindly ask all guests to arrive no later than 4:50 pm to allow time for parking and seating. Guests who arrive later than 4:55 pm will not be permitted into the ceremony.

How do I know who is invited?

Answer

Your invitation has the answer! When you RSVP on our wedding website, it will show exactly how many people are in your party. Please only RSVP for the guests listed on your invite so we can make sure everyone has a spot to celebrate with us.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire, but keep in mind we’ll be celebrating outdoors in the North Georgia mountains. Think dressed-up, but still comfortable enough to wander around in nature. For women, knee-length or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or chic separates are perfect. While considering shoes, be aware that the ceremony will be taking place on the lawn. For men, a suit or dress pants with a button-down and blazer works great. Feel free to lean into earthy colors and fabrics that fit the mountain vibe. Please avoid white, ivory, and champagne. Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love you and wish we could invite everyone, but due to space and our venue size, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. If your invite specifies a plus one, they’re included. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you come solo and celebrate with us!

Can I bring my child/children?

Answer

No, while we adore your little ones, we are keeping our guest list limited. Only those children listed on the invitation are invited. If your invitation is addressed to your family, that means your children are included. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you join us for an adults-focused celebration.

How do I get there?

Answer

In terms of flights, Atlanta will be the closest and have the best variety of flights, but there are two regional airports slightly further that can be an option (times may vary based on traffic): -Atlanta, GA (ATL) – ~85 miles, ~1 hour 50 minutes drive (be aware of ATL rush hour traffic!). This is the only international airport. -Chattanooga, TN (CHA) – ~105 miles, ~2 hours 30 minutes drive. -Asheville, NC (AVL) – ~154 miles, ~2 hours 40 minutes drive. All transportation needs during the wedding weekend will be the responsibility of the guests.

Where should I stay?

Check out our lodging tab! The venue is about 20 minutes northeast of downtown Dahlonega. We do not have a hotel block, but in our Lodging tab you’ll find two charming inns closer to the venue, as well as a list of hotels in town, including both local favorites and well-known chains.
