Question

Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?

Answer

Yes, both the wedding ceremony and reception will be onsite at OceanCliff Hotel, our venue.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will both be outdoors on grass, with the reception to follow inside the OceanCliff Ballroom.

What should I wear?

Answer

We would appreciate if our guests wore black-tie attire. A great occasion to break out your best look!

What constitutes black tie attire?

Answer

For women, black-tie may include a floor-length gown, or a dressy pantsuit. For men, a tuxedo or a dark colored suit. We only ask that guests do not wear white, or white-adjacent. If you would like to double-check on your attire, please feel free to contact the bride!

Is there transportation?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation provided via two trolley services to and from the OceanCliff Hotel, via a pickup and drop off at Newport Marriott Hotel. Pickup will be at 4PM promptly to drop off at the venue for 4:30PM, to leave time prior to the ceremony start at 5PM.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you're able to bring a plus one, your formal invitation will say your name + guest on the envelope. We appreciate your understanding as we work with our venue’s limitations in finalizing our guest list.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adult-only affair.

Will there be parking?

Answer

There is limited parking available at the venue during our ceremony and reception. Transportation will be provided from the Newport Marriott Hotel in Newport.
