We're getting married!

Jean-Paul and Nicole met in 2018 at SUNY Geneseo. Jean-Paul was originally friends with Nicole’s roommate and they began to hang out more after he transferred to the college. For months, Jean-Paul persistently asked Nicole to hang out so they could spend time getting to know one another individually. Unfortunately for Jean-Paul, Nicole was intimidated by him and would invite her friends along to hide her nerves. As time passed and they spent more time getting to know each other, Nicole realized how good of a person Jean-Paul was; they officially began dating in April 2018. Their first date was to a diner for chocolate chip pancakes and they still love to have “pancakes parties” together! After graduating from Geneseo, Jean-Paul decided to pursue his career in Washington D.C. and Nicole had plans to complete her education in Syracuse, NY. Being in a long distance relationship for three years was difficult but taught them many valuable lessons that have strengthened their relationship. After graduating from graduate school in May 2023, Nicole moved down to the D.C. area to be closer to Jean-Paul and begin her career. In July 2024, Nicole and Jean-Paul moved into a condo together which they have been slowly renovating and making into their first together home. They are excited to celebrate their love and create a future together as husband and wife!
