Day 1 (Exact Date TBD)

Paath - 10am - 1pm At this event we will be doing prayers at Rattan's family's home. Very low key event and typically attended by just family. (If you are around we welcome you to join, family or not). Lunch provided. Mehndi(Henna)- 6pm Food and some drinks will be served. Typically this event is just for women but we welcome anyone in town to join us. Everyone that would like to get henna should wear short sleeves so you are less likely to ruin your clothes.

Cocktail Party- 7pm A big party with lots of food, drinks and dancing. Ending the night with guests 'painting' a turmeric paste on the Bride and Groom.

Rest up today. We will host a volunteering opportunity at a nearby Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) this is called Seva and a really nice community experience. Food available before and after.

Day 4 (Exact Date TBD)

Anand Kaj - 10am-12pm This is the formal ceremony at the Gurudwara. Please be prepared to cover your head, if you don't have a headscarf there will be some available at the Gurudwara. Following the ceremony we will eat at the Gurudwara- Langar. Wedding reception- 7pm. Lots of food, drinks and dancing.

Gaana Khedna- 10am-12pm This is another low key event, at Rattan's family's home. Groom's family gives sweets out. We will have a meal together and the Bride and Groom play some silly games.
