We were so close in proximity our whole teen lives, but never actually crossed each others paths. Justin remembers coming to visit my close neighbors all the time growing up, which makes it odd that we were never introduced before. The timing that we met must have been fate. We eventually met each other in person at the neighbor’s Superbowl party on February 3, 2013. He came right up and introduced himself to me with a handshake, a memory I will never forget. “All of this happened by taking your hand."
Fast forward to five years later when he finally popped the question. We went to Clearwater, Florida together on vacation. One of the last nights there, July 3rd, he made his move. We had an amazing seafood dinner, then went for a walk on the beach at sunset. We walked so far up the beach and back just taking in the sunset and snapping pictures. He started making sweet comments about us and I was getting anxious. He eventually said lets stop right here for a second and dropped down on one knee. I was so shocked and surprised he had a beautiful ring in his pocket the whole time and planned such a sweet proposal. It couldn't have been a more beautiful backdrop and there were also fireworks going off in the background right afterwards because of it being close to Independence Day. It was an absolutely perfect moment!
