Downtown Paso Robles
We love wandering around downtown Paso. There are so many good restaurants, tasting rooms, coffee shops, ice cream places and bakeries to try. There is also a Farmer's market by the Downtown City Park on Saturday morning that has amazing Tamales along with many other yummy local treats. Favorite restaurants for dinner that we have tried so far: Fish Gaucho and S'Aranella Great breakfast diner: Cowgirl Cafe Cocktails, in case you get tired of wine: The Alchemist's Garden
Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery
This was the first winery we visited in Paso Robles. Their carbonic red is one of our favorites!
DAOU Vineyards
DAOU has gorgeous views and delicious wine!
Austin Hope & Treana Tasting Cellar
Austin Hope has really delicious reds and a very fun vibe.
Brecon Estate
Brecon feels like a wine taste in the park, and the wine is delicious!
Downtown SLO
SLO is a cute little city to wander around if you have time before going to the airport with great shops, restaurants and coffee shops.
Firestone Walker Taproom Restaurant
If you like 805 as much as Tony, you can visit the Brewery where it's created.
Ciao Papi at River Lodge
REALLY yummy food and cocktails. We had an amazing brunch here!
Hearst Castle
Constructed by media mogul William Randolph Hearst and architect Julia Morgan between 1919 and 1947, the estate served as a lavish retreat for Hollywood elites, politicians, and other distinguished guests that you can now tour. It's only a 45 min drive from Paso.
Tin City
An eclectic little industrial makers market full of craft wine, beer, spirits, good food and sweet treats.
