Our story began on July 4, 2022, with a date that was as effortless as it was unforgettable. We met at The Degenerate, shared dinner and engaging conversation, and then headed to Cordelia Park to watch fireworks light up the Charlotte skyline. The night ended with us walking home together, dancing in the street, and feeling that the whole evening was almost too good to be true. From that night onward, our adventures together unfolded naturally. We explored new places, embraced spontaneous outings, and cherished quiet nights at home, each experience weaving us closer together. Laughter and shared moments became the foundation of our relationship, creating a sense of belonging and joy. In November 2023, we took the next step and moved in together, making our first home as a couple. By May 2024, we found ourselves buying a house, setting down roots, and building a space that truly felt like ours. Two months later, on July 4, 2024, we were at Uncle Stanley’s farm in Kilinkere, Ireland—a place close to Jack’s heart since childhood. We spent the day with family, toured the local tractor dealership (a dream come true for Jack), and Laura even got her hands dirty helping with the cows. After seeing her dive in, laughing and enjoying every minute, Jack knew without a doubt that she was the one. In that field, he dropped to one knee and asked his best friend to marry him.
