The Year was 2018 and Rassan is swiping through Instagram. He wasn’t looking for anything or anyone in particular until He sees this beautiful woman name "prettytrini91". Rassan, being Trini himself, decided that he would slide into her DM to shoot his shot. "Hey I think you're really beautiful and I would love the chance to get to know you better." To him, the worst thing that can happen is that she completely ignores his message and he moves on. As luck would find him, she replied. Craziest part is that she almost didn’t answer.

After a few dates, Rassan asked Ebony to come with him to a charity casino event, which she happily accepted. Roulette, Blackjack, poker and some St. Patty's Day Luck was on the menu for the evening and it was truly a night to remember. And yes, there were many prizes on the line, but The bigger winner was Rassan when he asked Ebony to make things official and she said yes.

The pandemic had hit everyone really hard but especially Relationships. However for Ebony & Rassan, it made them closer. It made them have more in depth conversations about what their futures would look like and how they would get there. Dates nights, picnics, and a trip to DC, Rassan knew this was the woman for him.

It was a very cold night and The objective was clear for Rassan: Propose to Ebony at a destination where a wrong was once made: The Brooklyn Museum. With the help of their lovely Tribe and the blessings of her parents, Ebony (thinking she was going to dinner for their 5th anniversary) was told by Rassan to wear a blindfold as soon as they got on the car so that she wouldn't know where she was going. When she took her blindfold off she was surprise to see that very tribe that took her in and loved her ever so much. And behind her, her future fiancé to be on one knee ready to pop the question: "Ebony B. Andrews, Will you marry me?" And well......

Here we are Kings, Queens & In Betweens. As May 16th approaches, it feels surreal that we've made it to this point after 7 years. Through all the ups & downs, trials & tribulations, we stand hand in hand ready to celebrate our love. This road wasn't an easy one but it sure was worth it.
