Use your best judgement. If you think your child/children will be a handful at a formal event, or will stress you out enough that you won't be able to enjoy the event, then maybe consider getting a babysitter. Well behaved children are definitely welcome.
If you feel comfortable wearing it at a church or funeral service, then it's okay to wear for a wedding; unless you have a Star Wars costume you want to wear. Either way, dress to impress!
Please let us know if you have any food sensitivities so we can plan accordingly.
For the most part, we don't see there being an issue, but to be safe than sorry, talk to either Stephen or Ashley to make sure it will be okay.
Specific hotels? No. Though if you do need one, we would recommend looking in the Lehi, Draper, American Fork, Pleasant Grove and Saratoga Springs areas.
We decided to set up two charity donations since we don't really stand in need of gifts traditionally given at weddings. We know there are people who still want to get us something, so we decided to set up cash funds to go towards moving and a honeymoon. On May 7th, we are flying to Virginia so we can pack up Ashley's current home and move her back to Utah. Since we will be driving and hauling a trailer across the country, the move will take up the time and money we would have used for a honeymoon, so our cross country move will be our "honeymoon" until we have the time and funds to go on a real honeymoon. We also added some gift items in the registry of items we don't currently have that we would like to have, but understand they are expensive and not necessarily a necessity, but we are putting it out there all the same. Otherwise, we'd be happy to accept gift cards for Amazon, or destinations that can serve as date nights. (i.e. Restaurants, movie theaters, plays, laser tag, etc.)
Right now, everyone we are aware of that is coming is local. If anyone does need transportation, please let us know.
