It all began in preschool in Prescott, Arizona — yes, really! Rumor has it we were even engaged back then, so it’s about time we made it official. Fast forward, our paths continued to cross growing up in the same neighborhood, going to the same elementary school, and the same high school (Where Alison cheered for Drew's basketball games) but it wasn’t until years later that our story truly began. After college, life took us in different directions: Alison moved to Austin, TX, while Drew lived in Phoenix, AZ. Then, in 2022, Alison moved back to Arizona — and that’s when everything changed. Here’s where it gets fun: the credit for our reunion is still up for debate, but it involves a very serendipitous moment. Patricia (Mother of the Bride) happened to walk into Raskin’s Jewelers and ran into Greg (Father of the Groom), Renee (Mother of the Groom), and Drew. Naturally, Patricia mentioned that Alison had just moved back — and made sure to add that she was single. With a little encouragement from Renee*, Drew slid into Alison’s Instagram DMs and asked her out. We went on our first date in December 2022, and officially became a couple on January 26, 2023 — yes, Drew’s birthday! On November 23, 2024, Drew popped the question after sneakily planning the most perfect proposal and surprise engagement party. It was everything Alison could have dreamed of — and more. Today, we live a wonderful life together in Scottsdale, AZ with our beloved puppy, Georgina. We can’t wait to get married and are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you! *If you ask Greg, this part of the story was all him!
