Join us in celebrating the vibrancy of the gaye holud by wearing bright yellows, oranges, pinks, and greens. Desi attire (like lightweight saris, salwar kameez, and panjabis/kurtas) encouraged but not required! Check out some attire inspiration here: pin.it/ytcsKBMNF
"Gaye Holud" (গায়ে হলুদ) literally translates to "turmeric on the body" in Bengali. It's a joyful, colorful Bangladeshi pre-wedding tradition where loved ones bless the couple with turmeric paste, sweets (mishti), and laughter for a bright start to married life. In our multi-cultural spin on the Gaye Holud, we'll be welcoming guests at the historic Calistoga Inn and Brewery event garden. There will be food, drinks, mehndi (henna), and more!
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Ubers in Calistoga can be sparse, so we'll have a shuttle to take guests to and from the hotel where we have a room block.

Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. Bright, bold colors encouraged!
Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and after party will all be at Solage :) For those not staying at the resort, we'll have shuttle service available to and from The UpValley Inn.
