Downtown Knoxville
Market Square, Gay Street, and the Old City are all walkable pockets of Downtown Knoxville that have some of the best restaurants and shop in town. Here are our favorites in each of these areas: Market Square - Tomato Head (great pizza), and Peter Kern Library (speakeasy cocktail lounge) Gay Street - Maple Hall (bowling), The Vault (cocktail lounge and small plates), Five Thirty Lounge (rooftop of Hyatt Place), Cruze Farms (ice cream) Old City - Kefi (greek restaurant), Balter Beerworks (get the nachos), Southern Grit (brunch)
South Knoxville
SoKno is conveniently located just across the river from Downtown Knoxville. This area has Ijams Nature Center, which is great for hiking, biking, and paddle boarding. Some of our favorite restaurants in this area are SoKno Taco Cantina and Honeybee Coffee.
