Jonathan and I met when we were in 6th and 7th grade at Morrill Middle School. He was the new boy on campus that all the girls thought was cute.. (of course I didn't lol) I was more focused on trying to get through the first week of school rather than focusing on some boy. On occasion, Jonathan would pass my homeroom and glance at me here and there and I would look and turn my head as fast as I could lol.. one day.. my friend Christine was teasing me about liking him.. which I denied over and over again until she told me he liked me too. She came into one of our classes we had together and she gave me his jacket with a letter.. she said it's from him and to read it right away.. I rolled my eyes a couple times before opening the letter and when I finally opened it.. the first sentence already had my eyes rolling again lol.. it said "dear shortie.." he then proceeded with telling me how his day went.. and ended with "heres my jacket.. wear it so everyone knows how much I like you.. ps.. thanks for the letter" haha!! After I read the letter I was really confused because I never wrote him one. I looked at my friend Christine and I asked her what she did.. and she said "oh ya I wrote him a letter saying you like him.. because you do!" -_- From that day forward.. we went from glancing at each other to upgrading to saying hi and bye to each other. On our last day of school, Jonathan hopped over a fence and asked me to sign his year book. He then proceeded forward and asked me for my number lol.. and that summer was when our love story kept going and never ended..
The past 13 years has been one of the best things to happen in our lives. Although not all times were good times, we still went forward and kept our relationship going. We never had a normal relationship regular couples had. It was a struggle back then to hang out or go on dates because of how Rose was raised. Her parents were very strict and I respected that so I followed their rules about dating their daughter. One of the many things we did when we were younger was ride on my bike. At that time I didn't have my own car yet or have my license but I did have a bike with pegs. She would ride in the back and we would cruise from place to place with not a care in the world. As we grew up, our love grew too. I'm glad to have grown with Rose and sometimes it feels like we are old souls in young bodies. Rose has always supported me throughout our entire relationship and I owe so much for the patience she has given me.. for the love.. for the memories and the many more years of life we have yet to conquer. Rose and I love to travel. We want to explore all 50 states and we are at 10/50 states right now. We want to travel internationally as well but for now, start our life in Hawaii and explore the different islands Hawaii has to offer. We cannot wait to begin our new journey.
