New Orleans has music literally everywhere, but on our last trip we spent most of our time on Frenchmen Street and I'm not sure that I'll ever go anywhere else now. Again... check to make sure things are open before you go!
If you don't want to ONLY eat and drink your way through New Orleans, we have had a great time just wandering Magazine Street. There are so many cool antique shops and home decor stores like Merchant House, and the most beautiful Krewe sunglasses store, and cold brew and donuts at District Donuts Sliders Brew. Keep going down Magazine for the beautiful houses and you’ll find yourself in a whole other group of shops and restaurants to explore. Definitely a great way to spend a day. For all you history buffs out there, you could also spend a full day at the National WWII museum. We actually couldn’t fit it all into one day when we went.
