We're getting married!

Being a millennial, Michael was perusing the relationship app (Hinge) when he came across a photo that made him pause. Of course he thought she was beautiful, but something seemed familiar. Then it clicked, he'd seen her years earlier on a friend's Facebook when she ran for student government at UCLA. He immediately did what he wanted to do when he first saw that picture and asked her out. Raquel agreed to meet the cute Jewish boy at an intimate wine bar on the Upper West Side. He walked her home that night and topped off their first date with the perfect first kiss. In the coming weeks, Michael took Raquel ice skating in Bryant Park, she introduced him to secret NYC concerts, and Caroline Rhea called them out at a comedy show, predicting their children would be “Banana Republic models.” At the Google holiday party (within a month of meeting), Raquel says Michael professed his love for the first time. Michael, who may have had a few innocent drinks, claims he didn’t say the ‘L’ word that night, but he already knew he was in love. After Raquel came home from a 3-week trip that Michael didn’t allow a day to pass without them speaking, their relationship truly blossomed. They explored NYC, traveled to Austin, visited friends in DC, weekended in the Berkshires and Jersey shore, and adventured throughout Costa Rica. Coronavirus put their relationship to the test, but they passed with flying colors, embracing their time together and with family, and escaping to LBI, Maine, and LA. One early Fall day, Michael took Raquel on an adventure she'd never forget. He planned a day full of surprises, capped off with a charming beach picnic at a historic estate. Michael couldn’t stop smiling as his knee hit the sand and he asked Raquel to marry him. Her response: "Of course!"
