We met at a friend's birthday dinner and instantly liked each other, but we both thought we were way out of each other's league so we did not sit together. Then, after several weeks of asking our mutual friends about one another, they set us up on a movie date. We chatted through the entire movie and missed a lot of the important parts because we were having such a great time. After the movies, we had a game night with our friends and before the night ended we both had a feeling this was going to be something serious.

While in El Salvador celebrating my sister's wedding, Jared surprised me at my family's beach house. He decorated with rose petals, candles, a huge heart, and a banner that said "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" I completely missed the cues when walking into the house and had to have Jared guide me down the right hallway. Jared got down on one knee and popped the question. I shouted "HELL YES!" and we were engaged! We are so happy to celebrate this next chapter with you!
