Our love story began at the Illustrious Morgan State University. What started with flowers and walks to class quickly blossomed into something deeper. From those early days to life’s bigger leaps—like moving to San Diego for graduate school—we’ve faced challenges together and become stronger. Unforgettable moments, like David gifting Raquel a life-sized teddy bear during a college kickback, and Raquel surprising a homesick David with his closest friends for his birthday, strengthened our bond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. We've shared countless adventures—laughing at comedy shows, seeking thrills at amusement parks, and celebrating milestones like joining Greek life and excelling academically. Now, back in Maryland, we’ve built our new home, launched our careers, and are excited to take the next step in life as husband and wife.
