Ring Bearer
Leo 'LP' Parkes is Ben's nephew and fast catching up his uncle in sporting acumen...and height. Leo will be prepared for any sporting challenge you set him, especially if it involves diving to the bottom of the pool! Watch out for his moves on the dancefloor, he's rumored to have multiple girlfriends at Boxmoore Primary School.
Flower Girl
In her own words, Marlie is set to be a 'Flower' for the wedding. Ben's niece and the youngest of the Parkes', Marlie will certainly bring the elegance of a flower to the wedding, but don't let that fool you, her favourite games involved reenacting school. So be careful, in her role as 'Miss Parkes' (headteacher) Marlie might have you in detention before you know it!
Best Man
Jordan & Ben met on October 31st 1991. Ben arrived with a guitar as a gift, to start 29 years of brotherly love. From back garden cricket to crabbing in Mudeford, Jordan & Ben have been the closest of brothers and occasionally competitors! Now father to Leo & Marlie, Jordan is training a new generation to beat his brother at any sport imaginable.
Best Man
George & Ben met on the upper floor of the school bus on the first day at Parmiters. Like all good romcoms, they were inseparable from this moment and lived together through University. Often spotted together either on the Geogsoc team, in Tattles classes, playing Lord of the Rings and in many fancy dress costumes. If telepathy existed, its something that George & Ben share.
Groomsman
Chris AKA Mush and Ben have been friends since Parmiters where they played in pretty much every sports team available together. Mush would frequently cross the ball into the box on a plate for Ben to squander the chance and dispatch the ball into a house 3 roads away. From nights out at Area & Oceana in Watford followed by stays in the cabin to hitting up Cafe Wha in NYC, there's rarely a quiet moment between the two.
Groomsman
T'Benj & Ben have been friends since Parmiters days. Benj formed a formidable 1st changed medium paced off spin bowler in the school cricket team with Ben, rolling over numerous schools with kids playing cricket in formal shoes. Benj & Ben went on to form Herts Senior County Leagues most prolific duo, leading Old Parms to league success in 2018.
