He swiped right, she swiped right and viola they were a match... If only it was that easy... Sweet Michael is a native Floridian who was a hardworking single dad looking for love. Georgia was brand new to Fort Lauderdale always looking for love but never finding the "one". Their first date was at Houston's. Michael rushed over after a busy day at work and Georgia sauntered over after a day of teaching and an after-work happy hour. She was nervous and not looking forward to another "first date". When they met Georgia was smitten by this tall handsome man who was such a gentleman. Her co-workers ended up coming by to crash the date, and he handled it with humor and was very laid back about it all... They spent the rest of the evening talking about how they hated first dates and laughing and eating. The rest is history. After that first date, they hung out all the time. Going to Panthers games, traveling, and boating on the weekends. When Covid hit, the two hunkered down together and enjoyed cooking at home and playing with the pups. These two are happy to spend forever together taking on whatever life throws them.

The only way Michael knew he could surprise Georgia is if he did it on a random Wednesday. That Wednesday morning Georgia woke up and said she would love to do a boat cruise after work. It was her idea! So when she came home and they headed out on the boat she suspected nothing, it was her idea after all. He anchored the boat, Georgia got out the cheese platter and they sat chatting enjoying the sunset. Michael asked Georgia to go to the back of the boat and grab a bottle of wine. In a mere 5 seconds, he sprinkled roses and got down on one knee. It was the best Wednesday in history!
