Mammoth is a small ski resort town in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. October is a beautiful fall month with a range of fun outdoor activities to partake in like hiking, kayaking, and camping. Unfortunately, it’s typically too early to ski. Nearby, you have Mono Lake, Bodie Ghost Town, Lake Tahoe, and the incredible Yosemite National Park. If you have the time, we highly recommend a trip to Yosemite as that is where we got engaged!
