Raphael N Kehinde's Love story

First comes love then, comes marriage

It all started August 21, 2020, from a simple sliding into Kehinde's DM saying hi on Instagram & we connected from there. When we first spoke on the phone, we bonded so well that we conversated for almost 1 hour and 40 minutes. The phone conversation was so smooth and created a lasting impression that I wanted to always follow up with her each and every other day. From there on, we went to our favorite African spot by which is the "Suya spot." As we spent time together getting to know each other, we noticed we share many similarities, goals, & aspirations such as our love for GOD, values, dreams, hobbies, watching movies, taking long walks, playing and eating crabs at ocean city. Most of our walks was around the Baltimore harbor. We admire the beautiful waters & reminisce on impactful things that happen in our lives. On our spare time, we love watching movies on Netflix & play games, going out doing fun activities at Dave & busters Ocean City Park. Through this amazing journey, we are growing in love, admiration, respect for one another, spiritually and also knowing each other more. We are so excited about starting this new journey in our lives and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone.

The Proposal

A Date to Remember

It was August 7, 2021, the month signifying a year after we met. We went to a restaurant in downtown Baltimore called Fogo De chau for dinner. Over dinner we discussed our dreams, goals and aspirations. Kehinde had eaten earlier in the day so she was barely eating during the dinner. I told her I was going to order dessert and she wondered why since she could barely touch her food and they don't do to go boxes at the restaurant. She reluctantly agreed to the dessert. And then boom!!! the proposal came in the form of a dessert. She was so surprised and I had to get her up on her feet. Holding her hand and getting down on One knee. I asked her to marry me and she said Yes!!!!. For my fiancée to say yes was the happiest day in my life. Just to see the people around clapping and to actually walk to us saying congrats was exciting. This moment brought happiness within my heart and I became the happiest man in the world by having the most beautifulest woman in my life.
