Tvrdana Fortica in Hvar is a historical centerpiece located at the town of Hvar. The fortress served its habitants as a protection against pirates. You will enjoy a stunning view on the island, the ocean and the several little islands surrounding Hvar. We recommend to visit the castle either early in the morning or in the late afternoon because in summer it's too hot to go there around noon.
Pakleni Islands are little islands close Hvar-town (H-town). At the "riva" (kind of a little harbour) in the center H-town there are several boats that take tourists to these islands for around 10€ per person. Our favourite Pakleni island is called Zdrilca, which known by a number of pebble beaches, as well as the one called Mline. For those seeking good food this bay offers several restaurants.
Vrboska is the islands "little Venice". The town has cute little stone bridges and cute little stone houses. Ideal to have a nice walk around.
One of the restaurants on the island we highly recommend. The owners are super nice and super flexible in terms of food. They can create vegan and vegetarian menues and the food is just delicious. It's located in Jelsa and you also have a nice view to the town.
