Question

What's all this talk about homecoming?

Answer

The University of Missouri is an integral part of life in Columbia, Missouri (CoMO), and college sports are followed by practically everyone in town. Homecoming is a big deal in this college town, especially since Mizzou is frequently recognized as the birthplace of Homecoming. It began in 1911 when former athletic director Chester Brewer called for alumni to "come home" for the annual football game versus KU. Today, Mizzou Homecoming has grown into one of the largest student-run celebrations of its kind. Given the number of alumni traveling to town for this event as well as the large group of fans that typically travel with the rival SEC team, this will likely be a crazy weekend in CoMO. If you are willing to brave the extra crowds or skip out on homecoming activities to be a part of our wedding festivities, we are greatly honored. However we completely understand if you have homecoming plans and are unable to attend.

Question

What is the alcohol situation?

Answer

We are selecting various wines and beers to be available throughout the evening during the reception. Absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed on the premises due to the venue's liquor license. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to this rule.
