The Wedding Website of Jessica Forminio and Frank Rao
We’ve gathered the most common questions to help make your experience seamless and stress-free. From travel tips to dress code details, you’ll find everything you need to know right here.
Question

When should I arrive in Italy?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Wednesday, July 8th to allow time to settle in, adjust to the time difference, and enjoy the beauty of Lake Maggiore before the wedding events starting on Thursday, July 9th.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a block of hotel rooms reserved for guests. You can find these in the "Accommodations" tab of our website! We highly recommend booking a place in Stresa to be close to all the wedding events and enjoy the charm of the town with us!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will arrange group transportation for the wedding day. More logistics will be shared in advance.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

July in Stresa is typically warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures in the mid to high 70s°F (24–27°C) and cooler evenings by the lake. We recommend packing: - Light, breathable clothing for the daytime - Dressy-casual attire for welcome events and dinners - Formalwear for the wedding day - A light sweater or shawl for breezy evenings - Comfortable shoes for walking on cobblestone streets - Sunglasses, sunscreen, and your favorite swimsuit — you’ll be by the lake, after all!

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The wedding will be formal attire. Think elegant evening wear—suits and ties and long dresses. Kindly avoid white, cream, or ivory— leave that to the bride! Check our “Dress Code” section for more inspiration!

Question

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing light pink gowns!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

To honor the sacredness of our religious ceremony, we ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos while in church. Please join us in being fully present. Feel free to take all the photos you like during the reception!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! If your invitation includes a plus one, your guest is warmly welcome. We’re keeping things intimate, so we appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be held indoors followed by an outdoor reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive by 3:45 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by March 31, 2026. You’ll also have the opportunity to share any dietary restrictions or special accommodations once we send invitations out! Grazie mille — we’re so excited to spend this unforgettable weekend with you!
