When will your new date be?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are hesitant to set a new date just yet but are hoping for sometime in spring next year (possibly April or May). You can look forward to us making an announcement once a vaccine has been developed and/or Covid-19 rates have dropped substantially.

Will either of you change your name?

Answer

Yes. Christine Rao will legally become Christine Rao-Giattini but will go by Christine Rao in professional settings and Christine Giattini in personal settings. Peter Giattini will remain Peter Giattini and future potential children will have the last name of Giattini.

I'm not Catholic can I participate in the mass?

Answer

You may but you can not receive the Eucharist. Even if you are a Christian you may not receive the Eucharist. You can however participate in the rest of the mass regardless of your spiritual beliefs. If you cannot receive the Eucharist but wish to receive a blessing instead, you may go up with the rest of the congregation during the processional, but simply cross your arms over your chest. Place your left hand on your right shoulder and your right hand on your left shoulder and bow your head.
