Westchester County Airport (HPN)
We absolutely recommend flying into HPN rather than any New York Metro airport. NYC traffic is not ideal and Westchester County Airport is the closest airport to New Canaan (approx. 35-45 minutes)
Rental Car
We DO recommend renting a car!
Avis, Hertz and Budget Car Rentals can be booked from the Westchester County Airport (HPN) or at the Stamford (Connecticut) Metro Center - the train station easily accessible if traveling via Metro North (MTA Railroad) from any NYC airports.

JFK and LGA
Both JFK and LGA are 1.5 hours away (without traffic.) If you plan on flying into either of these airports you can look to book the "super shuttle" shared van transportation to your hotel or book an uber to either Grand Central Station or Harlem 125th station for Metro North Train service to Stamford, Norwalk or New Canaan Connecticut.
