First introduced to us when Kathryn graduated from Saint Louis University. Gian-Tony's is an Italian Restaurant located on The Hill. The Hill is famous within the St. Louis area for their Italian food and being the highest point in the city. Gian-Tony's is best known for their eggplant parmigiana, a delicious appetizer.
Fitz's is a family friendly local restaurant best know for their floats with all their different sodas flavors! Perfect treat for children. It is located on the Delmar loop which has many shops and restaurants as well as a trolley.

Located just down highway 94, Defiance Ridge Vineyards is known for its views and delicious wine and food. Perfect for sitting down with others, or talking a walk to see the scenery.
The Gateway is a great piece of history as well as family friendly attraction for all. Attractions include staying on the ground floor with the museum or take a tram ride to the top to see the beautiful views of St. Louis and the Mississippi River.
Located in Forest Park, The zoo is the one of the most popular attractions in the St. Louis. Not only is it free, it is also one of the highest ranking zoos in the United States.

Being located right off the Katy trail, means you can even rent a bike for the day. It is one of Tyler and Kathryn's favorite spots and if you pay close attention you might be able to find some Vogt family history.
Forest Park is home to many St. Louis attractions including the Jewel Box, and the St. Louis Art Museum. But It is perfect place for a walk or picnic. Plenty of walking paths are located through out the park, or stop by the boathouse to rent paddle boats.
