Shannon Airport (SNN) [ ~83 miles to Killarney ] By Car [ ~ 1 hour 50 mins drive time ] (1) Take N18 into Limerick, from Limerick follow signs for Cork/Tralee which will bring you onto N20 to Adare. (2) Exit onto M20 towards Cork/Tralee bringing you through to Adare, Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale, Castleisland, and Farranfore. (3) As you approach Farranfore, you will pass Kerry Airport approx 1km after, turn left on to N22 for approx 14km From here use the directional signage to Killarney. (4.) Entering Killarney, follow signs for N71 (Muckross Road) and continue for 1.2 mi then, look for the Cahernane House signpost & turn off onto the Cahernane House Hotel private driveway.

(2.) As you approach Killarney, follow signs for the N71 & turn onto Muckross Road. Continue for about 1.2 miles then look for "Cahernane House Hotel" signpost on the left-hand side. Turn onto the private driveway leading to Cahernane House Hotel. By Train: (1) Take taxi/Uber/bus (15–20 minutes) to Cork Kent Train Station [ 15-20 minutes ] Taxis fare ~€20–€25. (2) TakeIrish Rail train from Cork Kent Station Train to Killarney Train Station [ ~ 1.5 hours ] (3) Taxi to Cahernane House Hotel [ 5-10 min drive time ]
