The story of how Ransen and I met is quite simple. I moved into my college dorm room in the fall of 2017. My roommate Ashlee, who is my matron on honor, had this bright idea of trying to set me up with one of her friends. I gave her every reason as to why it was never going to work out, and proceeded to ignore her request. She eventually said just the right thing, and got me thinking that this "friend" could end up being the man I was meant to marry. I finally got the nerve to message this friend of hers on October 5th, 2017 through social media. That friend, was Ransen. The man that I was meant to marry.

Ransen and I, along with Ransen's family were on a family vacation in Blanco, Texas. After spending all day at the lake, we decided to go back to the hotel and get cleaned up for dinner. That night, we ate at Old 300 BBQ. After eating our delicious meal, we decided to walk around the square. As we were walking, we got side tracked by this ginormous tree sitting in the middle of the city park. After taking a few photos, we started to head back to the car. As we were walking I noticed Ransen was no longer by my side, making me turn around to see what he was doing. When I turned around, Ransen was there kneeling on one knee. Of course, without a doubt, I said YES!
