Even though they both went to a small school in upstate New York, they never would have met if it wasn't for Tinder. One wanted a good time, the other was sick of being single. Kalie was trying very hard not to match with anyone from her school, but didn't pay much attention to Tyler's profile when she "swiped right". The next thing she knew, he was messaging her asking what trimester she was in. Confused as to why someone would ask or care, she realized he went to NYCC. Thinking that nothing would come out of it, she decided to meet with him and at least be friends. One month into "just being friends", they started dating. Not actually knowing when they made it official, they chose a random date that seemed about right. Tyler was from Pennsylvania and Kalie was from New Hampshire, which was a big deal. Kalie and Tyler both wanted to move back to their home state. However, after Kalie visited Tyler's hometown for the annual 4th of July parade, she felt like this place was home. She decided she wanted to be there with him and have a family, a thought that never crossed her mind before. The rest, as they say, is history.
