Juroon

10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Attire: Festive daytime. Indian attire and western outfits in light, soft colors. Think pastels, florals, ivory, gold, white.

A traditional Assamese pre-wedding ritual where the groom's family presents gifts to the bride, symbolizing acceptance, blessings and the coming together of families

Kerala Sadhya Lunch & Houseboat

12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

A traditional Kerala feast served on banana leaves, prepared by local women empowerment groups, such as Kudumbashree. The afternoon continues on the Kerala's iconic waterways, cruising through quiet canals and palm-lined lagoons. This is Kerala at it's best with the slow pace and scenery meant to be experienced together

Sangeet

7:00 pm - 11:45 pm

Attire: Colorful, celebratory and dance friendly. Indian or Western

Haldi and Mehendi

10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Attire: Yellows or vibrant colors, something you don't mind getting a little messy

Haldi is a blessing ritual that symbolizes purification, protection, and an auspicious beginning to married life. Mehendi features intricate henna designs applied to the hands and arms, symbolizing joy, beauty, and celebration. Together, these traditions mark the start of the wedding day.

Quaker Ceremony & Lunch

1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Attire: Simple, understated and comfortable. Dresses, shirts, suits or Indian wear all work beautifully

Quaker ceremonies are grounded in the belief that there is an “inner light” within all of us. In this spirit, the ceremony is quiet and reflective, centered on presence and stillness. As we exchange vows, guests are invited to share a thought or blessing if they feel moved.

Baraat & Hindu Wedding

6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Attire: Formal (Indian or Western)

Formal ceremony, with groom's and bride's processions, followed by pheras and dinner to close the weekend
