Tyler and Andrea met at a small coffee shop next to UCF's main campus in 2010. Andrea worked at the coffee shop as a barista, and Tyler was a regular patron who would sit at the bar doing his homework, sipping coffee, and enjoying conversions with the other coffee shop regulars. Back then Andrea and Tyler were nothing more than friends, the timing was never right, though they were fond of each other. Time went on. Andrea moved to Tampa, FL for graduate school and Tyler moved to Albany, NY for work. Eight years went by before the two decided to give an old college crush the chance to grow into something more. In 2018 Tyler relocated to Melbourne FL, and Andrea moved from Tampa to be with him. On October 6th 2023, after a day of Disney fun and magic, Tyler proposed to Andrea in front of EPCOT fireworks. Feeling overwhelmed with excitement, Andrea cried happy tears of joy.
