FAQs

Question

Can I contribute to the Cookie Table?

Answer

The Cookie Table is a cherished Pittsburgh wedding tradition where loved ones bake and share homemade cookies to celebrate the couple. It's a community effort that brings together favorite recipes, each one a symbol of love, heritage, and generosity. If you'd like to contribute your baking to our cookie table, please reach out to Staci—we'd love to have you be part of this special tradition!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5pm so we kindly request that you arrive at least 20 minutes early to ensure you don't miss anything. This will also give you time to park and find your seat. Shuttles from downtown will arrive at the venue by 4:30pm.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will depart from the Hilton at 4:00 PM and arrive at the venue by 4:30 PM. At the end of the reception, shuttles will return guests to the hotel at 10:30 PM. Please plan to arrive and meet the shuttle no later than 3:45 PM. You may also drive to the venue. Pre-paid valet parking will be available on-site. Ubers and Lyfts are also available.

Question

Is there parking and is it free/paid?

Answer

There is valet parking available at the venue. The cost has been covered by the bride and groom but feel free to tip at your discretion!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal or cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our bridal party. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Check out the "Travel" tab on our website for more information on hotels, parking, shuttles and room blocks. We're currently finalizing our accommodation arrangements and will update the site with those specifics soon.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The cocktail hour will be held partially outside. Everything else will take place indoors.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Duh! Get ready to party!!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs will open soon! Please RSVP by September 19th by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
