Matron of Honor
Hi, I’m Sam! I met Makenna in 2017, and we quickly became very close. It feels like we’ve known each other for so much longer!! Makenna and Randy had been together for about 6 years at that point, and it was clear they had chosen the perfect partners in each other. As they both have become two of my closest friends, I see the deep care for each other & excitement for a life together they share! I can’t wait for their special day!! As for me, I’m married to one of Randy’s best men, Mason! We have a son, and now, a little girl on the way who will arrive in time for the wedding! They get the sweet titles of ring bearer and flower girl. I’m a stay at home mom and am studying Psychology in an undergrad program right now; so, my days are full, but I enjoy it so much!

Hello! My name is mason bright. I’ve been friends with Randy and Makenna for about 5 or 6 years now. I met Randy through my work and was then introduced to his then girlfriend Makenna. Our friendships grew quickly and Randy has become one of my closest friends. I consider him a brother. We’ve made more memories in the last few years then I’ve made with a lot of my other friends in the last ten. It’s been a joy to get to know such amazing people and I am stoked to see where life takes us.

Hey everyone, I’m Haley Wahlstrom and I’m one of Makenna’s bridesmaids. I’m currently finishing up my nursing degree this year at the University of San Francisco. My goal is to start travel nursing sometime after I graduate and get experience in the emergency department. I’ve known Makenna for 16 years when we met at soccer tryouts. She became not only my best friend from that moment, but also my sister and someone I look up to. On the other hand, I met Randy through Makenna in high school. They have always been my favorite couple to third wheel with! From that moment forward they became such a big part of my life. They are the epitome of what true love embodies.
Best Man
I met Randy 16 years ago - little did I know a recess rivalry would evolve into a friendship that would last a lifetime. From soccer to skiing, to working on our cars and most recently disc golf, we have always shared an obsession that we’ve bonded over. Having been through thick and thin together, I consider Randy more of a brother than a friend. Ten years ago I was lucky enough to meet Makenna and witness the two of them blossom from a teenage couple into one of the strongest and most faithful relationships I’ve ever known. Although I’ve struggled at times letting Randy spend more time with his future bride than with me, I consider myself very lucky to have been able to witness my best friend find his soulmate and cultivate a relationship that will last an eternity.

Hello everyone my name is Chase Floodman. I am one of Randy’s roommates but also a great friend of his! I didn’t always know him or Makenna. A few years back I had gone to a spaghetti factory work party with my friend Alex Bluemel! He told me he wanted to introduce me to this guy he was friends with and said that we shared a lot of interests. That is that night that I had really met Randy and we talked for a long time and found out we had a lot in common! He told me about his lovely girlfriend Makenna and how long that had been together and I was amazed! A few weeks later I met the one and only Makenna at the 9149. She was so kind and friendly to me that I knew these two people were going to be a huge part in my life!

Hi everyone! My name is Coco and I am one of Makenna’s oldest friends. We met on the first day of kindergarten. From there our friendship continued to grow as we made it through elementary school, middle school, and high school together. It was in those early days of high school that I first saw Makenna and Randy together. No one ever thinks they will marry their high school sweetheart, but with Makenna, I knew she would. It’s been a pleasure watching their love grow over the years. A little about me. I was born and raised in Sacramento and love the city I call home. I decided to pursue law and am currently in my second year of law school at McGeorge here in Sacramento. I work for the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office and love the work I do. Cheers to the amazing couple!

Hey Everyone, I’m Emad! I’m a Cyber Security Engineer in the Bay Area. When I’m not working you can find me racing cars, breaking cars, and fixing cars. I love wakeboarding, snowboarding, and motocross! I first met Randy in an English class our sophomore year of college, and our friendship developed over our love of cars and similar interests. When I first got to know Makenna at their Halloween party, I quickly realized how sweet and kind hearted of a woman she was and got to see how well they complimented each other as a couple. As funny as these two are both on their own and as a unit, they are two of the most dedicated and hardworking people I know. I’ve been grateful to see their relationship grow over the past few years, and am honored to be a part of their special day!

A little about me; I live in SF and work as a Data Privacy Paralegal. In my free time, I’m either working on house projects, practicing yoga or spending whole days at the park just eating and drinking in the sun. Makenna and I go way way back..like infancy. She happens to be family and I am lucky enough to be able to call her my friend. My memories of growing up include getting to spend the summer, birthdays or holidays with her, always full of laughter. We have gotten to spend our lives seeing each other grow into the women we are today. I am so proud of the woman my cousin has become and proud of the wonderful man who has chosen to be by her side. I could not be more excited for Makenna and Randy to enter this new chapter in their relationship.Congratulations to the beautiful couple!

Hi all, My name is Meredith (Mere for short) and I met Makenna in an English Class during our junior year at Bella Vista Highschool. As a recent transfer, Makenna never failed to make me feel welcome, and we hit it off instantly. Eventually, between being shushed in class, to copious amounts of “Bach” nights, our friendship grew into what it is today. I met Randy shortly after Makenna, and we’ve all spent many, fun nights together with various friend groups. They are both some of the most kind, caring, and selfless people I’ve ever met. Together, they’re loving and inseparable, but most importantly, they have so much FUN together—Which in my opinion, is one of the most vital components to a lasting relationship. I’m honored to be a part of their big day!

Hello, My name is Diego from Tracy. I met Randy at Sac State while trying to crash a course. Thankfully we made it into the course and that course marked the start of our friendship. As hard as that class was, being Randy's friend was easy. Through the years we've made a lot of amazing memories, shared countless laughs, and enjoyed many fun nights in Sacramento. I knew Randy had good taste but when he first introduced me to Makenna I knew he picked a good one. Makenna and I have attended many of Randy's shows around Sacramento. Without a doubt, I can confidently say this couple knows how to have fun and is always ready to have a good time. Can't wait to kill it on the dance floor with two of my best friends.

Hello everyone! My name is Lexi and I have the pleasure of being one of Makenna’s bridesmaids. Makenna and I became friends by sheer accident two years ago. What was just supposed to be a hangout night between our boyfriends turned into me realizing that this woman is utter gold and a pure soul that I needed more of in my life. While I have only known Makenna for a short while, I have never felt such an instantaneous connection. Not only was it her joyous laughter and positive energy, but also her relationship with Randy that taught me the kind of amazing partner she is. Whether it is new acquaintances, life-long friendships, schooling, career, or engagement, Makenna approaches everything with the same love, patience, and grace; the same feelings that she will take into her marriage.

Upon meeting Randy you immediately know you want to be close with him. He has a way of seeing into you, and shining a light on your best qualities; he’s a genuine and heartfelt companion. Randy and I have been friends since fourth grade, and I am so grateful to have grown up with the best companion anyone could ask for. We were the closest of friends through many firsts: girlfriends, heartbreaks, cars and drinks; and although we didn’t know it, one of his great lasts. His last lady. Freshman year, I remember him talking about this cute girl who ran track, and how nervous he was to ask her out. Since then, I’ve been able to see these two grow together through their most formative years. They have cultivated in one another the companion they seek to be, and the love we all hope to have.
