PARKING--We plan to have parking along Furnace Rd and Amity Lane on the outside of our fence. We will reserve parking in the driveway for anyone with special needs. CEREMONY --During the ceremony we encourage guest to take candid snapshots but we do ask that you please silence any sounds on your cell phones. RECEPTION-- This will be very casual with Bluegrass, Gospel, Christian, and a variety of other music playing. Our DJ is the Fabulous Michael Blackburn. Requests are ok but we ask that you stay within the genre. PHOTOGRAPHY-- Our photographer is my wonderful sister, Erin Blackburn. We welcome you to ask her to take pictures of you and your family (when she is available) It is important to us to have lots of pictures of our guests because we love you. ( That's why we invited you) :-) THAT DUMB VIRUS-- we know that we have to be careful not to spread germs- so we'll do what we can. Masks are welcome but not required. I will have some hand sanitizer available.

Sunday casual

We all know that 2020 has been the year of CRAZY-CRAZYNESS - but I just don't think ya'll have a clue what it's like to plan a wedding during a pandemic. It has been a little bit stressful and bittersweet. I love planning parties and weddings and creating color schemes and making the whole thing come together. However, it's a whole lot harder to focus on the fun parts, like that, when you have the stress of the virus. That stupid virus has caused us to change our date several times and kept us from having a venue, other than our home. Anyway, we finally decided to embrace the reality that is 2020 and have the wedding at our home, since the government can't "shut it down" We know that the most important thing is that we love each other and we are committed to serving God. The wedding is just one day but the Love last forever........

For all the days along the way
