When should I book my travel?

Answer

Santa Cruz is a summer vacation destination so plan to book your lodging as soon as possible. Check our Travel page for suggestions on Hotels, Airport, Ground Transportation including a link to the discounted room block at the Hotel Paradox if you choose.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep the Saturday wedding celebration an adults-only event so that everyone including parents can relax and enjoy the festivities. Children are welcome to join the Friday Welcome Happy Hour at Hotel Paradox.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding intimate, we are only planning to include the guests named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

How should I get to the Hollins House?

Answer

The Hollins House is less than 10 minutes away from Hotel Paradox. Reserving an Uber using their "Later" function for your ride there and back is a great option! Our event will end at 10pm so you could schedule your return pick up around 10:10pm. If you'd like to drive there is ample parking at the Hollins House. You can leave a car there overnight until 10AM on Sunday if you decide to drive there and Uber back to the hotel. The venue will provide you with a gate code for when you return in the morning to retrieve your car.

What if I need to leave early?

Stay as long as you like! Whenever you need to make your grand (or quiet!) exit, please know that we are simply happy you could join us for any part of the celebration. The ceremony will be at sunset (approx 7:30pm) if that helps you plan.

What should I wear?

Answer

We suggest Garden Cocktail. Dress to impress comfortably for an indoor/outdoor celebration. Think festive, bright, and ready to walk on grass and dance! No jacket or tie necessary for men. Ladies are encouraged to wear bright solid colors. Bring sun protection (hats/sunglasses) and a light layer in case the evening gets chilly.
