We were set up by our dear friends Elizabeth and Skyler, who decided we were both way too “picky” and honestly, thank goodness they intervened. From a nervous (and slightly sweaty) Randy on our first date at Three Notch’d Brewery to a wholesome third date where he cooked Bethany a steak dinner at her house, we quickly realized this was something special. From our first trip together to Tulum to spending a year on the West Coast, and adding our beloved goldendoodle, Bodie, to the mix, we’ve shared countless adventures that have only brought us closer together. Randy proposed at sunset overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains after a night spent dancing under the stars at Veritas Vineyard. It felt like coming home to Virginia and to each other exactly where we were always meant to be.
