Whitney is Maddie's cousin, and they have always been close. Growing up together and spending time with family has been a huge part of their lives. Whitney has been a huge supporter, friend, and partner in crime throughout the years. One of their favorite memories is going Black Friday shopping each year. They always wake up super early and get coffee, then spend the entire day shopping with family. They have spent many summers camping, hiking, and making memories!
Dennis Hakanen

Dennis met Max in Erie, Pennsylvania, where they grew up as neighbors and quickly became inseparable. They built a strong friendship over their shared love of video games and countless hours spent doing stupid and very memorable things in Dennis’s garage. Their friendship only grew stronger even after Max moved away from Pennsylvania. Fast forward more than 10 years, and they’re still best friends who can spend hours laughing about old memories and the ridiculous stories from when they were younger. Dennis continues to be a huge source of joy and laughter in Max’s life, and Max is incredibly grateful for the friendship they’ve shared all these years, with many more memories still to come.

Ish and Maddie met working together in the ICU and instantly became close friends. They have bonded over rough days at work, persevering through long night shifts, and many late-night study sessions. One of their funniest memories was when a group of their work friends went tubing at Turkey Run. Ish, Maddie, and Lizz got stuck in some brush on the creek and started to drown. A few moments later, Maddie pulled Ish out of the water to safety. Another great memory was their visit to Holiday World last summer! Ish has been a kind, sweet, supportive friend through some of the hardest challenges!

Theo is Max's older brother and like most they had there fair share of fights when they were younger. Most notably there biggest fight was over grilled cheese... But Theo continues to be a great source of laughter and joy. He was the one to introduce Max to computers and games in general where if he didn't Max would have never met the amazing people he talks and laughs with everyday. Max is so grateful to have such an amazing older brother that has shaped his life in so many ways. He wishes they could hang out more often but that just makes the times they do that much more special.

Jori and Maddie met for the first time a few years ago. At the time, their boyfriends, Max and Rion, had planned a trip, and Maddie and Max went to Pennsylvania to visit Rion and Jori. After spending a week together, they found out they had a lot in common and enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, and watching our boyfriends laugh at each other's jokes. Over the years, they have spent time visiting each other because they are 500 miles apart. The first time they met, Rion and Max were worried that Jori and Maddie would not connect. They were very wrong because after meeting for the first time, they have shared a lifelong friendship that continues to grow!

Max met Rion through Dennis where they quickly became friends with their shared interest of basketball, computers and tv shows. Rion has been such a great friend to Max showing it constantly. Rion and his mom drove to drop Max off at the airport 3 hours away. The flight got canceled in which both of them drove back to the airport to stay with me until my next flight. Rion truly been such an amazing friend that Max is blessed to have. His warm welcoming southern personality is such a joy to be around, he is probably the only person in the friend group that can go burger for burger with Max.
Zoe Lister

Zoe and Maddie met in the ICU. They quickly realized they had the same last name, Randolph. They started as new grad nurses in the ICU during the summer after graduating from college and have grown as close friends ever since. Supporting each other during rough days at work and then getting dinner afterward to de-brief about their horrible day has brought them even closer. Maddie had the privilege to attend Zoe and Billy's wedding last May, and it is one of their favorite memories. Another great memory was when they spent a day at Holiday World with other friends from work. Zoe brings so much joy and laughter into every room she enters!

Hunter and Max met in high school, where they quickly bonded over their shared love of computers and video games. That friendship turned into countless late nights spent gaming and laughing nonstop. Hunter never fails to make everyone laugh with his goofy personality, but behind the humor is an incredibly smart and dedicated person. He even helped Max get through some tough computer science classes in college and honestly, who knows where Max would be without him. All these years later, not much has changed, they’re still playing games, laughing until they cry, and sending each other silly pictures. There’s truly never a dull moment when Hunter is around, and we hope that never changes.

Lilly and Maddie met in nursing school at SMWC. Lilly moved back home and joined Maddie's nursing cohort sophomore year. They had clinical together and then began to hang out outside of school. One night, Lilly, Maddie, Max, and Matt (Lilly's man) went to dinner. That night was the beginning of a great friendship between them all. Ever since that night, Lilly and Maddie have made many memories and spent a lot of time laughing together. Lilly has been a close, supportive friend. One of their favorite memories was going on Lilly's bachelorette trip last September. Being friends for many years has allowed them to see each other go through many life stages, which has been so meaningful to them both!
Matthew Calvert

Matt is Max's newest friend who he only met recently compared to everyone else on this list but that does not make the friendship any less meaningful. If Max where to have a spirit animal, it would be Matt. From the first time Max met Matt at McDonalds Max knew he was the one. Their goofy personalities couldn't be any similar making their time together even better. Matt has been a great source of constant laughter and amusement. His smile could light up a room which compliments his welcoming personality. Max is very lucky and grateful to have met Matt as a friend and he cant wait to see what more silly things they will laugh at next.
Lizz Ross

Maddie and Lizz met while working as nurses in the ICU. They grew close while working many night shifts together. Lizz and Maddie found out that they worked well together and could get a patient bath done so fast. They would also go out for breakfast with other coworkers after a rough shift, which made for some great memories. Lizz and Maddie are always making jokes and laughing together. One of their favorite memories is meeting up together at Disney World in January. Another great memory was going tubing at Turkey Run and almost drowning, but eventually making it to shore. Lizz is such a queen and always makes everyone feel loved!

Taarush is another one of Max's childhood friends. Max has spent countless days in Taarush's basement watching movie, playing with nerf guns and just having an all around great time. Max can't think of a single bad memory when it comes to Taarush and that shows the kind of person he is. There is never a dull moment when your around him and Max would not want it any other way. He is kind, welcoming and always smiling. You wont meet a nicer person. Max can't express how lucky he is to have such a wonderful friend in his life.
