Ryan and I met through mutual friends at Parilla a local place in Boise, we started talking to each other every day after that and never stopped. Shortly after we met, Ryan asked me to get drinks with him. Admittedly, I was reluctant at first since it was the first time it would be just the two of us but i'm so glad that I agreed to go. Of course, Ryan was such a perfect gentleman, we laughed the entire time and the rest is history :)
Ryan and I were staying at the resort in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for one of his work trips. That night we were going to be eating at one of our favorite places, Beverly's but I didn't think anything of it because this was something that we had done before. When we arrived we had a great table with an amazing view and I do remember thinking how lucky we were, I didn't know at that time that Ryan had called to make a reservation beforehand! Before we even got our food, Ryan got on one knee and proposed! His words "I was just too nervous to wait." I'm so happy it worked out that way because we got to spend the rest of our night celebrating our engagement! Coeur d'Alene will always have a special place in our hearts and we're excited to visit again. We honestly could have never predicted what surprises were yet to come!
As you all know we had to make the difficult decision to postpone our wedding originally scheduled for July 11, 2020. At that time, like the rest of 2020, we weren't sure what the future had in store for us but one thing we did know is that we still wanted to get married! We went back and forth on several different ideas over a few months and after a couple of close calls we eventually convinced Jack & Annellie to join us for a wedding adventure in Las Vegas! We figured if we're going to elope we might as well do it the classic way! We were fortunate enough to have all the best wishes from our friends and family and our only regret is that you weren't all there to celebrate with us!
