Randi and Josh’s story begins like all great modern romances- with a dating app. Randi had recently moved to Minneapolis after taking a travel nurse contract and thought it would be fun to go on a few dates and discover more about the city she was quickly falling in love with. Josh had just returned home from a 6 month adventure of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail with his sister. Randi had two tickets to a band she liked, and Josh pretended to know who they were. Their first date was going to see ‘Death Cab for Cutie.’ Now, more than 3 years and countless adventures later, the two are about to set out on their greatest thrill yet- marriage. We cannot wait to celebrate with you at Camp Huninghake!

The cabins have been renovated to blend tradition with modern comfort. Each cabin features three bedrooms, known as chalets. Each chalet can accommodate 6 guests. The majority of beds are XL Twin beds. Bathrooms are conveniently located inside the cabin with hot water showers nearby. If you choose to stay at Camp Lincoln, please note that it is $25/ per person. This flat rate will cover your entire stay (1-3 nights) and allows us to provide bed linens for you. This payment can be made to either Josh or Randi via venmo, check or cash. Please reach out to Randi or Josh if you are interested in reserving a spot. We will not collect payment until closer to the wedding! While we will do our best to create cabin assignments that accommodate family needs and friend groups, please note that you may have the opportunity to make new friends (and bunk mates) while at Camp Huninghake! Please reach out to us with any special requests or questions. Please note that cabin space is limited and first come first serve. Please reach out to Josh or Randi to indicate your interest.

Minnesota in August is a breeze. Literally. The high is typically in the high 70’s/ low 80’s and at night it will be in the low 60’s. The lake breeze is incredible and while Camp Lincoln’s cabins do not have A/C- we promise you won’t notice.
Camp Huninghake is a one-stop-shop. The ceremony, reception and sleeping accommodations are all on the same campus and just steps away from one another. No need to call an uber at the end of the night :)
At this time, the ceremony will be taking place outdoors with an indoor reception to follow. Our reception space is on the lake front, so there is plenty of fresh air to take in. We do have accommodations to move the ceremony indoors weather permitting.
Sort-of! We will be having the rehearsal dinner with close family on Thursday evening at Camp Lincoln. Following that, we will be having a welcome party at the same location to kick off the weekend celebration! All festivities for the entire weekend will take place at Camp Lincoln. Please join us for our “Opening Ceremony” bonfire on Thursday, 8/20 at 7 pm. If you plan on staying with us at Camp Lincoln, you will be able to receive your bunk assignment that night as well!
