Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

At Rustic Grace Estate in Van Alstyne, TX. The address will be on your invite as well as stated a few places on the website!

When will the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30pm sharp. Please try to be there 20-30 minutes early to pick a seat.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be indoors! The venue has built a beautiful white chapel for the ceremony and has a beautiful renovated red 1920s barn for the reception.

How will I RSVP? What is the deadline?

Answer

Please use the RSVP tab! There you will be asked some questions! You will RSVP for the ceremony and the reception! Please be RSVPed no later than October 11th!

Is there a certain side I need to sit on?

Answer

Not at all! We love the saying "Pick a seat, not a side. You loved by both the bride and groom." If you want to be seated in a certain place, brides' side is on the left facing the alter and the grooms is on the right side facing the alter. Please mind the first few rows as those are reserved for the parents and grandparents!

Are there any hotels that out of town guests can stay at?

Answer

There are plenty in the surrounding cities! Please see the "Travel" tab to view those!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We didn't set one so please wear what you feel comfortable in! But if you'd like to dress nicer you can do a business casual look! Please avoid white!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Though we do wish for a warmer weather, but this is Texas, and it could go many ways! We will update this answer once we are closer to the date!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Once the ceremony is over, please head on over to the reception area for our cocktail hour! we will have tea and water available for you to drink as well as an appetizer. The wedding party will be finishing up any pictures needed!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! Please select will not be attending on the RSVP page so we can plan accordingly!

Where should guest park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes, parking is free! You can park anywhere in front of the chapel. Please try to park close enough to allow all guests to fit!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We'd love to see your kids at our wedding!

Is food and drinks going to be provided at the reception? Is there going to be alcohol?

Answer

We will have a small cocktail hour while the wedding party is finishing up the rest of the pictures. There will be tea, water and alcohol there for you guys. Dinner is provided as well. Once we get closer to the date and get a guest headcount, we will provide what is for dinner! Alcohol is provided but we only get about four hours of the night to be able to serve it. Once we are closer to the date, we will provide the times for that!

Are kids meals provided?

Answer

Kids are able to eat what everyone else is going to be served!

Can I take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

Yes, pictures can be taken but only during the reception. The ceremony will be unplugged so please silence all phones and have them put away. We have the best photographer to help capture our vows.

May I take any flowers or centerpieces as a wedding favor?

Answer

We will actually have wedding favors for guests at each of the tables but if you would like any flowers, you are more than welcome to take some! Birdal bouquets need to stay with the wedding party as the bride will need them later. Please leave the gold chargers and the glass vases there as they are the brides as well.

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

Yes! Any guests who are single or would to bring someone, please contact the bride before October 11th and she will get them RSVPed for you!

Will your wedding have a day of timeline?

Answer

Yes! There is going to be a sign as you walk up the path to the chapel that will have the nights order of events for you see what's next!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Though we are only allowed four hours of the night to serve alcohol. We are still working out the times for this and will provide this as soon as we get things in order!

Where are you registered? Do you have links we could see?

Answer

We are registered on amazon and have a registry tab you can browse as well. If you want the link for the amazon list, please contact the bride.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

You can bring your gift to the wedding! There will be a table inside the red barn that is going to be for gifts.
