One hot Wednesday night in July 2019, Randi and Ezra had their first date. They met after work at CLOUD SOCIAL, a cute rooftop hotel bar in Midtown Manhattan. After one vodka soda, a watermelon beer and LOTS of water, they realized this was way better than your average first date and made the bold move to get dinner together. After some spicy noodles, Randi and Ezra shared a kiss at one of the MOST romantic spots in NYC... the steps leading down to the Herald Square subway station and made plans for a second date the following Monday. They ended up having three more dates before the planned Monday date - meeting up before and after prior commitments and in the middle of a blackout.

On the day after Valentine's Day, after a lovely sushi dinner at SUGARFISH, Ezra suggested that they get dessert suspiciously near the couple's first date spot, CLOUD SOCIAL. Randi wasn't entirely surprised when Ezra got down on one knee on East 32nd Street and proposed but she was very excited. After saying 'YES!' they rode the elevator up to the bar where it all began and enjoyed some champagne. Engagement celebrations continued at MILK BAR and The ACE Hotel.
