Most vividly, I recall asking you if you would like to meet in the morning or at night and you responding quickly with the fact that you are not a morning person and will never be! This, I have learned, is still VERY true, but now, I have the honor of being the person to wake up with you everyday. I remember hanging on every word that you said to me that night and leaving the date with the biggest smile on my face. Little did I know that you would become my best friend when I needed one the most and the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with. Taylor and I became the best of friends when we went to UW - Stevens Point, having gone to high school together but never speaking. She was one of the best surprises. From college parties to long talks while sharing a bottle of red wine, she's always been the kindest, most generous of friends. Taylor and I have truly grown up together. Our friendship is something that I truly hold near and dear to my heart. We met at UW-Oshkosh and quickly figured out that we came from rival high schools! (I still have beef with Shoreland!!) We immediately bonded and I knew that we would be friends for life. You were there for me through my darkest moments and never left my side even when I went directly against all of the advice that I asked you to give me. But in all seriousness, I am so thankful for the friendship that we have and I know that we are friends for life. You have always been a listening ear and one of my biggest hype-men. I could truly write a billion things about you, but I really want to tell one of my favorite stories! It was our freshman year at UW-Oshkosh and you had a boyfriend (that will not be named) who, honestly, was holding you back and killing your vibe at all times. When you made the decision to end it, we literally got in my car, drove to Appleton, and you proceeded to break up with him while I waited in the car outside. I have this memory of you walking out of the building with an arm full of stuff and a smile on your face. Then you parents grilled some burgers and I got to crash one of your family dinners! I think this story perfectly describes our friendship. We have been there for each others bad but also each others good and we have celebrated it every moment along the way.
