We met on August 17th, 2019 for our first date. We originally connected through Hinge, a popular dating app, and after a few weeks of talking decided we wanted to get to know each other in person. Our first date was at Fuel Pizza, followed by a walk to Lunchbox Records to browse music. We bonded over our shared sense of humor when we discovered a Beastie Boys album in the Hip-Hop section titled "Country Mike" and couldn't stop laughing and making jokes about it. It's years later and while a lot has happened and much has changed, we still eat lots of pizza, share music recommendations, and make each other laugh every day. On August 17, 2024, it will be 5 years from the day we met, and it will be the day we begin our lives together as a married couple!
