Great question! We want our guests to drink and dance as long as possible. So we decided to skip the formal seated meal in lieu of a cocktail-style reception, featuring non-stop hors d'oeuvres, hot and cold food stations, desserts and even a late night snack!
The age-old question... We want our guests to be comfortable, but we also would like everyone looking spiffy for photos. Attire ranging from cocktail dresses (or little black dress), suits and ties, pant-suits or dress pants are all appropriate. We definitely suggest brining a pair of comfy dancing shoes (sneakers, flip-flops, etc) for the reception. And don't worry... our coat check team can hold on to them during the ceremony!
Yes! There's no such thing as the "singles table" at this party. Bring a friend or date that you know will let loose on the dance floor.
Both hotels are a short-walking distance from Tuckerman Hall. Those staying at the hotel can most easily leave their vehicles at the hotel and walk.
We have reserved parking in the lot directly in front of Tuckerman Hall. The address is 39 Salisbury Street. There is also parking available in a lot directly behind the venue on Tuckerman street. There is also ample street parking on any of the adjacent streets.
We want to make sure all of our guests can stay late and enjoy the open bar! Therefore, this is an adults-only event.
Yes! We would strongly encourage anyone who plans to "party on" to book a room.
