Unfortunately, we are all still living in a world where the threat of COVID is still very real. While many of us have been vaccinated, we want to make sure every guest feels comfortable. Please wear a mask when not seated at your table. Tables will be spaced out to allow 6ft of separation. Guests will be seated for the ceremony with the same group they will be seated with for dinner. There will be hand sanitizer stations around the venue for your use. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone after this past year of isolation, however we want to do so safely. Please feel free to contact us with any concerns. XX, Ryan & Brandon
Like many couples hoping to get married this summer we have been forced to adjust our wedding plans to comply with the current state guidelines. Brandon and I have decided to postpone our wedding. Our new date is 10/2/2021. Your safety and health are our biggest priority and we want to make sure we are respecting that. Thank you so much for your understanding. We love you all so much! Stay safe & we will see you next year! - Ryan & Brandon
We met at possibly the trashiest nightclub Portland has to offer. I had recently returned from Australia and was out with some girlfriends. I was dancing with my group when someone tapped on my shoulder. A man asked me if I would dance with his friend. He gestured toward Brandon. I took one look into those blue eyes and I knew I was a goner but I replied smartly and said "I only dance with people that have moves" which Brandon answered by breaking out the sprinkler and shopping cart! We continued on dancing and talking the rest of the night. When it was time to say good bye, we exchanged numbers and had our first date the following Monday. We have been head over heels in love ever since. P.S. We found out after 2 weeks of dating neither one of us new the guy that introduced us. We both assumed that it was the other person's friend, but it turns out he was a complete stranger to both of us! It was truly fate!
We both knew we wanted to get engaged before Brandon left for Australia, we just had to decide when and how. If you know us, you know we work better as a team, so we decided to plan our engagement together. We both purchased rings and planned to propose to each other, we just had to figure out how we wanted to do it. In typical Ryan and Brandon fashion, we both came home one day and said, "Let's go skydiving!" We booked the trip shortly after, and contacted Sky Dive Oregon to see if they could accommodate us by filming our proposal out on the tarmac. They were thrilled to help and made the whole process very easy! So we jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet and when we landed we agreed to spend the rest of our lives together. Talk about a leap of faith!
